Armed Forces Day

This free, family-fun event is open to all and is a celebration of our armed forces community and an opportunity to say thank you for all they do for our city and the country.

The event will host a fun fair, a range of food stalls and bars as well as a series of interactive activities for everyone to enjoy including an escape room, laser tag and face painting.

A military parade featuring serving personnel, cadets and veterans will be a focal point of the event and there will be the opportunity to see military drill demonstrations in the event arena and talk to military personnel on their information stands.

Live entertainment will run throughout the day on the stage comprising a range of musical styles to appeal to all the family and the event will close with the grand finale when The Wings Parachute Team will lower the Armed Forces Day flag in spectacular style with their parachute display.
