More Information (WCR FM is not responsible for external websites)
This summer Wolverhampton be part of the fantastic Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
It will be an exciting time for our city as we host the inspirational Queen’s Baton Relay in July and the start and finish of the nail-biting cycling Time Trial in August in our historic West Park.
People from across Wolverhampton are invited to take part in the Games, whether cheering on our fantastic baton-bearers, watching the very best cyclists from across the Commonwealth race through the streets or enjoying a wide range of creative and cultural events.
We are also aware that the Games will mean some changes in the city, so information about bin collections, road closures and details about parking are on the Wolverhampton Council website. Full details of the main event are on the Commonwealth Games 2022 website.
There is a dedicated website to buy tickets for main events.
