A u3A talk with music
Paul trained at Wimbledon School of Art where he specialised in large scale abstract paintings derived from sketching the urban landscape. During the 1990s he taught in the innovative art department at Friends School Saffron Walden. He proceeded to become head of art at the Turkish International Lycee in Cambridge whilst undertaking regular commissions ranging from Church icons to large scale murals.
Paul won a Blue Peter badge at the age of 10 for drawing a portrait of Elvis, setting a precedent for his subsequent career in which an ability to impersonate, discuss and illustrate pop stars resulted in appearances on GMTV, The One Show and BBC Radio 5.
