The Wolverhampton Society is proud to present a talk by Richard Sells on John "Iron-Mad" Wilkinson, who plied his trade in Bradley, Bilston.
His inventions include a precision boring machine that could bore cast iron cylinders, e.g. cannon barrels and piston cylinders for steam engines.
