Charity concert to raise funds for Compton Care Choir and Christ Church, Tettenhall Wood.
The themed charity concert, A Wanderer’s Journey, is a musical travel journal through mountain valleys and out across the sea. Performed by classical singer Matthias Wurz and Stephen Read at the piano, the programme features a variety of popular songs by Aaron Copland and Franz Schubert, as well as a number of moving spirituals.
Both Matthias and Stephen make up the musical leadership team of Compton Care Choir. The performers would like to donate all proceeds to Christ Church, Tettenhall Wood, as well as Compton Care Choir as a thank you for a wonderful cooperation.
The concert lasts approx. one hour without an interval. Doors open at 5.30 pm; light refreshments will be provided before the start.
