Gather your friends, family and loved ones for a magical Sunset Stroll in our grounds this autumn. Unwind in nature as you stroll through the beautiful gardens and woodland, bathed in the soft glow of the sunset.
Walkers can choose between a 5km and 10km route and, as the sun begins to set, enjoy a relaxed stroll with family and friends, taking time to connect, celebrate, and appreciate moments that matter.
Celebrated DJ Niel Jackson will keep the energy high with music, games and entertainment for all the family. Once the walk is complete, guests can relax and refuel in the event village, where there will be delicious hot food and a licenced bar as well as the charity’s popular ‘Shop at The Hall’ store. For those seeking a quieter moment, Compton’s specialist Bereavement and Counselling team will be available for support.
Guests are invited to walk in memory of someone special by creating a personalised ‘Walking In Memory’ back sign and can nominate a meaningful song to be played during the evening. Every participant will receive a commemorative Sunset Stroll medal to mark the occasion.
Whether you’re walking in memory of a loved one, celebrating those closest to you, or simply enjoying an autumn evening in support of a worthy cause, Sunset Stroll offers a wonderful opportunity to come together and make lasting memories.
By taking part, you’ll be helping Compton Care continue to provide specialist palliative care, bereavement support and counselling services to local people and their families. The charity delivers expert clinical care both within its Inpatient Unit and across the community, supporting patients wherever they call home.
