Cuppa for Compton Week

Cuppa for Compton Week takes place between 5 – 14 June and is a chance to come together with friends, families and colleagues to enjoy tea and cake and raise vital funds to support Compton Care’s work providing specialist palliative care and bereavement support.

It follows the success of last year’s activity, which saw the local community and Compton Care supporters, as well as staff and volunteers at the charity, host a range of events throughout the week.

Sally Woods, Community Fundraiser at Compton Care, said: “Cuppa for Compton is such a wonderful way to bring people together, whether it’s gathering friends and family for afternoon tea, getting colleagues together for a bake sale, or simply treating yourself to coffee and cake for a good cause.

“If you’re looking to make your get-together extra special while raising funds for Compton, why not host your own Cuppa for Compton event during the week? We are hoping that as many people as possible come together and bake a difference!

“However you choose to host your Cuppa for Compton, every cup of tea, every slice of cake, and every pound raised makes a difference to local people living with a life-limiting condition. Together we can make a positive impact to the patients and families we support within the local community.”
