The longest-serving member of Napalm Death

More Information (WCR FM is not responsible for external websites)

Napalm Death’s Shane Embury reflects on 40 years of noise terrorism in a special night of conversation in Wolverhampton.

Shane is the longest-serving member of Napalm Death, godfathers of grindcore and inventors of a genre that took punk/metal to new extremes. Initially a fan of the band, Shane joined in 1987 and is now a veteran of around 3000 gigs and 15 studio albums. Shane will share stories from his life in and out of the band, reflecting on the community that has grown around them and the political values central to their music.

Shane will be signing copies of his illustrated memoir ‘Life? And Napalm Death’, published by Rocket 88 after the show.

There will be a chance to ask your own questions.
