Banners Bright

The Wolverhampton Society is proud to present an illustrated talk by NED WILLIAMS on 16/10/25 titled "BANNERS BRIGHT"

'There is something very visually exciting about observing people and their banners and this talk sets out to enjoy that spectacle and look at the history of banners, the manufacture of banners and the users of banners - such as trade unions, Friendly Societies, Sunday Schools and Chapels, the Temperance Movement and the Suffragettes. Hopefully there will be time to include a number of banners of local interest'.

At Penn Bowls Club, 10 Manor Road, Penn, Wolverhampton, WV4 5PY. Thursday 16th October 2025, 7:15pm for 7:30pm.

Members Free, Guests £5.00. Non-Member Guests Welcome Too.
