Following their fantastic 2024 run of festival appearances, we are happy to have Continental Lovers heading to The Giffard Arms. 

Continental Lovers started as a solo endeavour for Joe A Maddox towards the end of lockdown. The original intent of releasing a few songs was soon upended by the demand for live shows. Through word of mouth, the band started to piece together with long-time acquaintance Rik on drums and Debbie Dee on bass. After starting a family, Debbie Dee stepped back from the three-piece, replaced by Keri K Sinn. Soon after the rhythm section was complete, Ben Webster joined as a lead guitarist to flesh out the signature loud Continental Lovers sound.
The debut single, Really Doesn’t Matter, hit the airwaves in March 2022, followed by the 6-track EP, Dale Arden Vs the World, in July 2022 and The Girl (single) in October 2022. The Dale Arden 4-track EP was also released on SNAP! Records in Spain in December 2022.
