A 'lost parcels' pop-up.
More Information (WCR FM is not responsible for external websites)
From Tuesday 19 to Monday 25 May, Mander Shopping Centre will be home to one of the most unique retail experiences to hit the UK as King Colis, the French start-up that sells lost and undelivered parcels by weight, takes up residence in Wolverhampton.
The concept is simple… the excitement is anything but. Visitors have 10 minutes to select (and shake!) as many mystery packages as they want, without opening them, before heading to the scales to purchase.
At just £2.50 per 100 grams, the parcels could contain anything from high-tech devices and designer clothing to watches, beauty products, household appliances, collectibles, and more. Then comes the best bit: unboxing!
Every year, millions of online orders go undelivered and once a customer receives their refund, parcels are usually destroyed. Since 2023, King Colis has been purchasing these lost packages and giving them a second life, selling them via its website and in shopping centres. To date, the business has saved more than 2,000 tonnes of undelivered parcels from destruction. Adding to its sustainability credentials, all King Colis pop-up stores are 100% eco-made.
Plus, it's tonnes of fun!
It's free to attend, but if you want to skip the queue, fast passes are available for £15 at www.king-colis.co.uk.
