JAM Youth Theatre makes their debut performance at the Arena this February with their production of Andrew Lippa’s spooky and quirky musical “The Addams Family”. Wednesday Addams, now eighteen, has fallen in love with Lucas Beineke, a sweet Ohio boy from a normal family. When the Beinekes visit the Addams family mansion for dinner, two worlds collide spectacularly. Wednesday's secret romance threatens to upend the delightfully macabre harmony of the Addams household, while Lucas's conventional parents struggle to comprehend their hosts' ghoulish lifestyle. As family loyalties are tested and long-buried secrets emerge, both families must learn that love transcends differences. This darkly comic musical celebrates the beautifully bizarre bonds of family while exploring themes of acceptance, growing up, and finding your place in the world.
