Ooh suits you! The Fast Show comes to Wolverhampton in 2027.

L-R Mark Williams and Paul Whitehouse

Wolverhampton audiences will get the chance to see The Fast Show’s original cast live on stage next year, as they bring their live show to the Halls on 23 February.

Co-creators Paul Whitehouse and Charlie Higson will be joined by Simon Day, John Thomson, Mark Williams and Arabella Weir for the live show, 30 years after the series finished its original BBC run.

The Wolverhampton performance is one of 23 dates on the UK tour, which begins on 1 February. The run includes a stop at the Eventim Apollo Hammersmith on 28 February and finishes at Dublin’s Olympia on 3 March 2027.

Tickets went on sale at 12:00 on Friday 9 October and are available from thefastshow.live.

The show is billed as a celebration of the enduring appeal of TV sketch comedy and the laughter it has brought to millions. Audiences in Wolverhampton can expect a behind-the-scenes look at the series, with the cast chatting about how it began, how the programme was made, how the characters were created and the fun they had along the way.

That will be mixed with live performances of some of their best-loved sketches, monologues and songs, plus on-screen inserts. The evening will also include a moment to remember their late collaborator Caroline Aherne.

Fans can expect to see favourites including the Suits You Sir tailors, Swiss Toni, Ted and Ralph, Does My Bum Look Big In This? and Competitive Dad, among many others.

The Fast Show first aired on BBC2 on 27 September 1994 and became one of the nation’s best-loved comedy shows, with a huge influence on the sketch shows that followed.

Expect plenty of “Scorchio!” and “Brilliant!” when the cast arrive in the city on 23 February.
