Comedian Tim Vine is coming to Wolverhampton next year, with two nights at the Grand Theatre.
The one-liner king will perform on Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 May 2027 as part of a UK tour announced today. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 30 October.
Wolverhampton audiences can expect a barrage of new drivel from the comedian, with the joke conveyor belt set to full speed. There will be daft gags by the handful, stupid props and a sprinkling of musical interloons. Tim describes his new show as a show without a message, and says it’s his silliest yet.
Tim said: “On average children laugh 300 times a day and adults laugh about 17 times. Come along to my new show and get your average up a bit.”
Joining him on tour is his long-time pal John Archer, billed as the world’s greatest comedy magician.
Tim has been making the country laugh for more than 30 years. He started out on the London comedy circuit in the early 1990s and found success at the Edinburgh Festival, where he twice won Dave’s Best Joke of the Fringe, in 2010 and 2014. In 2001 he starred in ITV’s The Sketch Show, which won a BAFTA. His TV appearances since include Taskmasterand Celebrity Pottery Throwdown, and he fronted the hit Radio 4 series The Tim Vine Chat Show. He has also written joke books and made three very silly films.
His Wolverhampton dates are part of a tour that also takes in Birmingham’s Alexandra Theatre on Friday 9 April 2027, along with venues across the country.
Tickets for the Grand Theatre shows go on sale from 10am on Friday 30 October. For more information, visit timvine.com.
